Sears Barrett Architects has designed over 300 unique custom homes in Colorado and the Denver area with a wide range of architectural styles. From Mountain to Contemporary to Traditional – design versatility is what makes their architecture team truly unique. They are proactive with their website and update it frequently with new articles and projects.
History
Their first site was launched in 2001 with a Front Page template, very little text and no keyword phrases. They wondered why their site could not be found even when typing in the direct url. This initial site clearly didn’t represent the exceptional home designs to attract their ideal clients. In December of 2002 we gave the site a facelift and added titles, keyword phrases and meta descriptions. Within six months they were getting a great deal of unique visitors and new business. In March of 2005 we modified the look/layout a bit and in January 2009 launched a completely new redesign and portfolio. The site has a pleasing design with good use of white space, color, easy to use navigation, exceptional photos and engaging copy.
SEO
We have continuously provided search engine optimization for this site by analyzing statistics, reciprocal linking with appropriate vendors, and site submissions to industry and geographic directories. This site maintains a first page position on the top 3 search engines for a number of pertinent keyword phrases.
Results
This firm receives over 40% of their business from their website. It’s also a good marketing tool. Their printed advertisements and published articles include the web address. I know this sounds so basic, but many companies fail to include their web address in printed materials. Current clients can send referrals by directing people they know to the site. The potential clients who call or email can see the diversity of architectural styles and read about their awards. This pre-qualifies individuals who may be looking for a different type of service.
